The appointment and tests can be done on the same day if the patient has fasted. If not, the tests can be done the following day.<\/p><p>Most laboratory results require about 4 hours to complete, while a PET scan may take up to 24 hours. This means that a full diagnosis may take anywhere between 1 and 3 days.<\/p><p>Local or overseas patients visiting The Cancer Centre for a second opinion should bring a copy of their detailed medical report, histology report, and previously prescribed treatments and medications.<\/p><p>We are able to arrange for Vietnamese, Russian, Indian, and Cambodian-speaking translators.
