cancer.<\/p><p>A cornerstone of precision medicine, it is a form of medicine that uses information about a person\u2019s genes and proteins to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease.<\/p><p>Targeted therapies act on specific molecular targets that are associated with cancer, and are deliberately chosen or designed to interact with their target.<\/p><p>Most targeted therapies are either
