MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST

Dr Sue Lo is a UK-trained medical oncologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumours. She is a Senior Consultant at The Cancer Centre (TCC) and previously served as Senior Consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). Her special interests are in breast cancer and colorectal (bowel) cancer, with additional expertise in managing a wide range of gastrointestinal and other solid cancers.

Clinical Experience & Education
Dr Lo received her medical degree from Sheffield Medical School in the UK. After working at The Royal Hallamshire Teaching Hospital, she moved to London to continue her postgraduate training.

She became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, London, and completed her specialist oncology training at the world-renowned Royal Marsden Hospital in London. She obtained her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCT) in Medical Oncology.

Dr Lo has worked in both clinical and research roles, presenting her work at major European oncology meetings and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. In 2008, she was appointed Consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, and was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2011.

Leadership & Academic Contributions

Dr Lo previously chaired the Chemotherapy Safety Committee at NCCS and was also a committee member of the National Medication Safety Committee. She has been actively involved in medical education, providing regular tutorials to Duke-NUS postgraduate medical students and serving as an examiner for medical students from the National University Hospital Singapore.
